Ugh, I’m in math class right now. I don’t want to go to school. I want to be with Dee and my best friends on the beach or in Canal Park forever. But anyways, I’m so so sooo excited for Friday! My mom is gonna drive me and Clara halfway to Bessemer, and we’re gonna meet Haley’s parents there! And, I also saw Clara and her fam right outside my school in their car on the way to Marshall! It was awesome. Lol I’m so so excited. Then, the weekend after that, Dee and Haley are BOTH going to be up!! Yay! I hope that we can all go to Canal Park together. That would be super duper fun. I can show him where we hung on the bridge and got caught! I miss him so much. Glarg. I also miss Haley like ultimate crazy! And Clara, for that matter! But holyyyy I’m so FRICKEN excited for friday. I’ve never been to Haley’s house in Bessemer, just the one on Park Point.

Born in 1996 Over the coming months, I'll be publishing several journal entries a day in chronological order. I began journaling in 2007, when I was eleven years old. Even then I wrote as though I were archiving my life, collecting details about my world. As I grew older, journaling became more of a description of my emotional world. I am an aspiring creative nonfiction writer who is producing very little since graduating college this Spring. But with this unusually thorough account of my entire adolescence, I feel as though I have been given a gift that has been under my nose this whole time.
